Im on a train ... reception is horrible. I sent you the wrong update. please forgive me. Here's my true comment ...
Dear Stay Gold Film Festival Team,
Thank you for the honor of being included in a festival that carries such a meaningful legacy. The spirit behind “Stay Gold” — holding on to truth, innocence, and purpose in a world that constantly tries to reshape it — resonates deeply with me as both a storyteller and a filmmaker.
What you have built, from a grassroots movement in Tulsa to an international platform, is not just a festival, but a community rooted in connection, creativity, and authenticity. That foundation is felt, and it matters.
To be part of a space inspired by storytelling that has influenced generations, and to stand alongside voices who are continuing that tradition, is something I do not take lightly. It is both an honor and a reminder of why we create in the first place.
Thank you for creating a platform that not only showcases films, but preserves the spirit behind them. I look forward to growing with this community and being part of what comes next.
With sincere appreciation,
Valerie Denise Jones
Dear World Class Film Awards Team,
Thank you for the honor of being recognized by such a distinguished and forward-thinking platform. To be included among a global community of storytellers who are passionate about their craft is both humbling and deeply appreciated.
Your commitment to celebrating creativity, elevating voices, and creating space for meaningful storytelling does not go unnoticed. It is festivals like yours that remind filmmakers why we create—to connect, to inspire, and to leave something lasting behind.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this experience and look forward to what lies ahead as this journey continues to unfold.
With sincere appreciation,
Valerie Denise Jones
